Hi there, my name is Marissa Moncur and I have always loved flowers. Growing up, my mother had an enormous garden with a wide variety of vegetables and flowers. Even as a child, I gravitated towards floral design, as I would pick flowers from the garden to put on display. As I grew up that love of
flowers never changed, and after I graduated from college I decided to take my passion to the next level and study floral design at the Canadian Institute of Floral Design.
After I became a certified Floral Designer, I hit the ground running and worked at a local floral shop under a seasoned designer. There I learned the ins and outs of the industry, and how to handle the pressure of various occasions while still creating quality floral products. It was at that point I realized that my true passion was not just in making flowers, but that flowers could be used as an expression of happiness and love. From there it was time to spread my wings, and I started my own floral business. So far it has been an amazing ride, and I have cherished the opporunity to be a part of so many people's lives and playing my part in making their special days come to life.
